In addition to supporting student and staff technology needs, the Austin ISD Technology Department also ensures compliance with district policies, state and federal laws and regulations regarding technology in education. The district has policies and regulations in place for safe and ethical use of technology resources such as board policy CQ, the districtÂ鶹Çø™s acceptable use policy and AISD's internet safety plan. All users must comply with these policies, along with others such as FERPA, in order to use the districtÂ鶹Çø™s technology resources. Students and staff are required to sign the acceptable use policy yearly for this purpose.
